Jevy Jain Class III-E had participated in International creative writing competition held by the newspaper ‘The Little Scoop’ in the month of June, 2020. She has been awarded with 5th international rank in the junior category.

Launch of Annean’s E-Library

St Anne’s Convent School, Sector 32, Chandigarh, announced the launch of its state-of-the-art e-library named Annean’s E-Library. This e-library has been exclusively designed to support home learning. Annean’s E-Library is the first of its kind school e-library in Chandigarh. The e-library had been a dream-project of school librarian Mrs. Sonia, who very diligently, curated this free educational resource tool to assist students, educators and parents. School principal Sister Dr Shyni Paul’s futuristic vision and constant motivation was the guiding force behind the e-library initiative. The school management has appreciated the initiative taken by Mrs. Sonia.

Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme 2019-20

The Hindustan Times Scholarship programme is a unique endeavour of Hindustan Times. It seeks to recognise and reward the brightest young minds. And it seeks to do so in a manner that transcends the conventional means of rewarding a child by assessing her academic performance. This year 23,815 students from classes 5 to 9 from 127 participated in this programme. This year, the Hindustan Times Scholarship programme was rolled out in Mumbai, Pune and Chandigarh.

Aastha Budhiraja, Divya, A Hannnah Grace and Anoop Saini has made us proud in winning the scholarship of 25,000 rupees each

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2019

Divya of class VII D secured the first rank in State Level camp Level II Examination of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2019 held on 12th January at Panjab University and will be participating in the National Camp . Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is a national program for educating and popularizing science among school students of VI to XI standards.


Parliamentary Debate Championship 2019- Zonal tournament

Chahat Bhambri was among the top 10 speakers selected in St. Anne’s Parliamentary Debate Championship 2019 in collaboration with Indian Schools Debating Society. She was selected for the Zonal tournament where she headed for Nationals at Chennai. Achieving the milestones of success one by one she got selected as the top 16 debaters and secured a position in Team India. She will represent India in the International tournament to be held in Mexico.

INSPIRE Awards MANAK- 2020

St. Anne’s clinched a berth in INSPIRE Awards MANAK scheme conducted by State Council of Education Research and Training Sector 32, UT Chandigarh. All the schools in Chandigarh participated with maximum five entries from each school. However only around 50 entries were shortlisted for the second round. In the final round, best five projects were selected from the Chandigarh region for National level and among them two projects of St. Anne’s Convent School grabbed the space. One Project ‘A real life challenge for the person with disability” made by Divyam Kumar Kinger and another Project “A Buzzer for Checking Gas Leakage” made by Purva Sood received appreciation by the selection panel. The proud Anneans will vie for National Level Exhibition and Project Competition in Delhi.
