As the school doesn’t own any buses, arrangements are made with private bus operators to provide transport facilities:
It is not obligatory on our part to arrange transport if the route does not suit a particular child.
The pickup and drop points shall be in accordance with the guidelines of Chandigarh and Panchkula Administration and the Traffic Police.
The pickup and drop points of every child will be informed by the transporter as per the directions of the school management and cannot be changed during the academic year unless there is a change in residence.
If the residential address falls on an existing route, only then can the facility be availed.
Bus operators are not allowed to make any changes in routes or add new entries during the session without permission from the Principal.
Parents are requested to ensure that their child reaches the stop at least five minutes before the scheduled time.
Bus fees shall be paid for 11 months. Any revision will be informed in writing by the bus operator.
To discontinue the bus facility, one month’s advance notice must be given to the school with a copy to the operator.
Even if the facility is used for a few days in a month, the full month’s fee must be paid.
Students are not allowed to use two different routes or buses without the Principal’s permission.
One-way facility is generally not permitted. If required, permission must be obtained from the Principal with full payment.
For complaints, parents should first inform the operator. If unresolved, they may contact the Principal with details of the operator and bus number.
KINDLY INFORM THE PRINCIPAL IN WRITING:
If the bus carries students beyond 1½ times its seating capacity or if the conductor is frequently absent.
If the bus is driven recklessly.
If any unauthorized person travels in the bus.
If you have any other legitimate complaint regarding the bus.
Instructions for Students (Safety Guidelines)
Listen to the instructions of the driver, conductor, and teacher.
Help junior students to be seated.
Ensure the bus door is always properly closed before the bus moves.
Be at your stop 5 minutes before arrival.
Do not play, move around, or stand in the bus.
Do not throw waste outside the bus.
Do not stand on the steps while travelling.
Maintain discipline at all times.
Verbal or physical fights are strictly prohibited.
Do not get down at any stop other than your allotted one.
Do not distribute sweets, cakes, or snacks in the bus on any occasion.
Note:
Students who create indiscipline or fail to follow rules will be removed from the bus after a second warning.
Parents are not allowed to pick up their child from the bus parking or en route if the bus service is availed. If required, they must inform the school in writing in the morning or call the office (2603278) at least 20 minutes before the closing bell.
