“Self-knowledge is the beginning of self-improvement.”

In today’s world, it is very important for a child to recognize, manage, and express his or her feelings. Young children often find it difficult to identify how they feel and how to appropriately express their emotions.

Learning to identify and express emotions in a positive and healthy way helps build a strong foundation for success later in life. The better children are able to manage their emotions, the more profound and rewarding their relationships with others will be.

Let us all support our children when they talk and encourage them to practice strategies for expressing emotions while playing games, eating dinner, or travelling in a car. The more they practice, the quicker they will learn.

Let us help our children understand their emotions and encourage them to communicate. Let us give them the words that can transform their emotions and feelings in a positive way.
