Examination and Promotion

General Conditions
  1. The academic year is divided into two terms: April to September and October to March. There is an examination at the end of each term and the "Progress Report" is made available online.
  2. After one-hour periodic tests, regular classes will be conducted.
  3. Serious action will be taken if the marks or grades are tampered with.
  4. No request will be entertained to anticipate or postpone any unit test for individual students for any reason whatsoever.
  5. Wilful breach of any regulation pertaining to class tests or examinations is punishable and may lead to disqualification from assessments. If a student is caught using or assisting in the use of unfair means, the exam or test will be considered null and void.
  6. Any discrepancy in awarding marks must be brought to the notice of the respective teacher or the Principal within 24 hours of distribution of answer scripts. No changes will be permitted after the stipulated time.
Promotion Criteria
  1. For promotion from Class IX to X and XI to XII, a student must obtain a minimum of 33% marks. The promotion criteria for Classes IX, X, XI, and XII are subject to modifications as notified by CBSE from time to time.
  2. The result declared at the end of the academic year is final in all cases and will not be reconsidered.
Note: No student will be permitted to appear for half-yearly and final examinations unless all dues are cleared.
